Eligibility:
Olympic Strings Workshop will accept up to 20 highly motivated students, ages 12-18 for the 2025 season. Scholarships will be awarded based on need & merit. Five spots are available to students residing outside the Port Angeles area. To ensure optimal preparation, all camp repertoire must be recorded and uploaded by July 20 to secure your final acceptance and scholarship for camp.

Instruments: Violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, and harp

Audition Requirements:
In order to place you in a group with musicians at your level, all students must submit a YouTube link to an audition video with one solo piece and one scale of your choice. This should be recorded in one take with no editing. Please state your name, age, and the piece you're playing at the beginning of the video.
Fees:
Application Fee: $0
Tuition: $950 (scholarships available)
Room and Board: $495
Payment Schedule:
April 15: $100 holding fee due upon acceptance (part of tuition)
June 15: 50% tuition, room & board
July 15: 50% tuition, room & board

Counselor Applications
We welcome advanced string players at least 18 years of age to apply as counselors for our Olympic Strings Workshop. All counselors receive full tuition scholarships. Those selected to be teaching assistants are also eligible for room & board and a $150 stipend. Application requirements include an audition video and short essay.
Applications are due by March 31, 2024.
